POSITION: Defensive Coordinator

ATHLETIC BACKGROUND: Played linebacker at Wellesley High School (MA) and strong safety at Ferrum College (VA).

EXPERIENCE: Began coaching in 1987 at Marshfield High School. Spent 2 years as a freshman coach, 1 year as varsity linebackers coach, then took over as defensive coordinator in 1990, a role he held through the 2017 season. "Coach Nap" was the defensive coordinator for all 5 Marshfield Super Bowl champions.

SCHOOLS ATTENDED: Wellesley High School & Ferrum College

PROFESSIONAL INFO: Taught social studies in Marshfield for 37 years before retiring in 2008. He spent his first 12 years teaching at the middle school, then moved up to work at the high school. Coach Napoleone served as the Social Studies Department Chair during his last 5 years prior to retiring in 2008.

PERSONAL INFO: Married to Laura. Has 3 children: John Robert, Kimberly, and Nicole.
